Five Star Self Catering Holiday Accommodation in Pembrokeshire at Harrolds Cottages

Harrolds luxury self catering 5 and 4 star Cottages near Tenby are located at Harrolds, a non-working farm at the end of a half mile lane in a very private, tranquil setting surrounded by countryside. The cottages are close to the beaches, only 10 minutes from Tenby and Saundersfoot beach. The nearest pub to eat out is 3 minutes away and supermarket 8 minutes away. We offer five/four star accommodation in Pembrokeshire, Wales. There are 4 lovely 'home from home' cottages and a luxury mobile home. The holiday cottages could be booked together for family get-togethers or large groups, walkers and ramblers, cyclists, golfers, reunions etc. and will sleep up to 29 (inc mobile home) plus infants. The location is also ideal for team-building,corporate or network groups from industry, social services groups, etc. Also suitable for teaching practice students in low season. The natural pointed stone self-catering cottages have been tastefully and sympathetically converted from the original large barn and farm outbuildings. The cottages sleeping from 2 to 9 persons set in six acres, with a small flock of friendly sheep who will delight the children as they will happily feed from the hand. All cottages are equipped to a high specification: dishwashers, washing machines, fridge/freezers, wide screen TV's with freeserve digital, DVD players etc. All the self-catering cottages have a comfortable warm feeling, a real 'home from home' feel with quality, charm and character. The high quality finish includes hardwood windows, exposed beams, pine floors, full central heating and for that cosy feeling during autumn and winter breaks, wood burning stoves. For summer evenings, each has its own patio with quality furniture and BBQ and rotary clothes line.

We are surrounded by country life with foxes, badgers, buzzards, bats, owls and many other interesting wild birds regularly seen. Many guests enjoy badger watching as there is a badger set close by. Harrolds is an ideal base to tour both South and North Pembrokeshire. Stables offering horse-riding are close by, (http://www.dunes-riding.co.uk/) as are two golf courses, a golf driving range with free tuition Wednesday evenings. The area is ideal for ramblers, cycling and walkers. Some lovely country walks can be taken from the cottage or bring your cycles to explore the many country lanes. For the more adventurous Pembrokeshire coastal path is only a short drive, with rock climbing at St. Govans Head.

For the discerning angler the area offers outstanding fishing opportunities; Boat from Tenby and Saundersfoot, game on the Cleddau and Taf, sea and estuary for bass, flounder etc, coarse (including Carp) at Ian Heaps lakes and numerous other venues. Trout fly and worm at Llys y Fran reservoir. Apart from the many superb beaches close by, there is family entertainment at Oakwood Park and Heatherton Country Sports both only 6 minutes away. We have a large trampoline and for younger children (under 10s), an 8' trampoline and safety net and outdoor play activity centre and a small paddock available for ball games. There is also a games room with Table tennis, pool, and darts - A Boules pitch, provides a place for adults to relax with a glass of wine or a beer. Cable Internet access in each cottage.We also have very good mobile phone reception at Harrolds.
